ABOUT SLIGO VOLUNTEER CENTRE
Sligo Volunteer Centre is a service that, matches individuals who
would like to volunteer with volunteer involving organisations. We
provide a range of services including information, consultation,
volunteer leadership training and a Garda Vetting Service. Sligo
Volunteer Centre is a non-profit organisation and registered charity
funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and part
of a network of twenty-nine volunteer centres and a member of
Volunteer Ireland.
OVERALL PURPOSE AND ROLE DESCRIPTIONS
Sligo Volunteer Centre are recruiting for two positions.
* VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT OFFICER?? The purpose of this role is to
promote volunteering to potential volunteers in County Sligo, assist
them to get started volunteering while simultaneously supporting
Volunteer Involving Organisations offering them support, training and
guidance to maximize the involvement of volunteers in their services.
* ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT OFFICER?? The purpose of this role is
support the small staff team in the administrative functions of the
Centre and act as front of house in the centre.
We are looking for candidates with a broad based skillset who are
flexible and focused.?Please see the Recruitment Packs per role
